Leonarda is a highly skilled artisan who provides training in the art of knitting and hand spinning to her fellow Peruvian craftswomen. Thanks to her expertise, she has developed her own collection of knitwear adorned with fur.

Leonarda comes from the beautiful island of Amantani on Lake Titicaca. A jewel of just over 9 square kilometers, the island offers many opportunities for homestays. This is what Felicitas, Leonarda’s sister, does—she warmly welcomed Ann, a friend from Ontario eager to experience authentic cultural and solidarity-based tourism!
