The Artisans:
our Partners
We believe that artisanal know-how is something that must be preserved at all costs. That’s why we highlight products that are entirely handmade according to the customs and traditions of the artisans, contributing to the preservation of their ancestral heritage.
We work long-term and maintain close relationships with our partners. This allows us to align the demand from the North with production in the South. We ensure that the products meet the needs of our clients. We are committed to fair trade to improve the living conditions of the communities we work with and to contribute to sustainable development.

The majority of the artisans we work with live in the greater Lake Titicaca region, in the Puno constituency. This stunning lake, covering over 8,000 km², is nestled at 3,812 meters (12,507 feet) above sea level in the Andes Mountains. The villages of our partners are located at altitudes of up to 5,500 meters (18,000 feet).
This region is the stronghold of alpaca breeding, with a population of over 1,700,000 animals—more than 50% of Peru’s total alpaca population (3,200,000 in 2005).
