Fair trade
The goal of fair trade is to achieve greater equity in global exchanges. It is a human-centered approach in which intercultural exchange, respect, dialogue, and transparency form the foundation of the work. Fair trade helps contribute concretely to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions and safeguarding the rights of marginalized producers and workers.
We work according to the principles of fair trade.

Women of strength · Women of ♥

From the very beginning of the international cooperation project with Arte-Aymara, it was women who stepped forward, demonstrating their desire to get involved. Very quickly, the leadership shown by several of them led to the creation of their association. Their coming together contributes to their empowerment, their personal growth, and enables them to contribute to their family income.
Working with these women is a true privilege. For over 20 years, they have taught me strength of character and resilience. I see these women gaining self-confidence, becoming more involved in their communities, and teaching the younger generations. What rewards me most is seeing the sparkle in an artisan’s eyes when I congratulate her on the beauty of her knitting. — Maude.
Our relationships with the artisans go far beyond commercial transactions. They are fraternal relationships built on trust, listening, and humility.
We put every effort into developing our artisans’ skills and strengthening their confidence in their own abilities. This is what makes them strong and proud today.
-Maude Fodor, here with Prudencia Ramos, founding member of Association Arte-Aymara
