Leonarda is an experienced quilter who offers her Peruvian counterparts training on the art of knitting and spinning by hand. It is due to her expertise that she has developed her own collection of knitwear adorned with fur.
Leonarda comes from the beautiful island of Amantani on Lake Titicaca. A jewel of just over 9 square miles, the island offers many opportunities to stay in private homes. This is what Leonarda’s sister, Felicitas, is a host who warmly welcomed Ann, a friend from Ontario, Canada who supports cultural tourism!
